Hi, I’m Jeff!
I became a coach to help others tap into their full potential, unlocking sources of creativity and productivity. I look forward to helping enable you to best shape your journey.
With 25+ years of experience driving strategy, operations and risk/threat assessment in the public and private sectors I pull from diverse personal and professional experiences to help my clients identify and execute solutions. I have enabled, built and led world-class teams, from seven to 75+ people working across government, academia and industry. You should choose a coach based on fit, not a resume; however, if you’re interested in my professional experience, there’s a few details below and more available on LinkedIn.
I am an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited Associate Certified Coach (ACC), having completed at least 60+ hours of training and 100+ hours of experience, and a certified Leadership & Performance Coach by Brown University. I am currently pursuing ICF’s Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC) through completion of the Team Coaching Global Alliance’s Foundations and Advanced Training in Team Coaching programs.
In addition to my coaching experience I’ve mentored over 100 individuals over the past several decades, helping them navigate leadership and performance obstacles and enabling career transitions across dozens of companies and government organizations. I am certified to administer and debrief the Hogan Assessment with additional certification in Hogan’s Advanced Feedback and Advanced Interpretation programs. I am also a certified practitioner in administering the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation instruments (FIRO-B and FIRO Business). I’ve completed additional training in advanced coaching techniques from ACT Leadership’s Next Level Coaching Program and from Quiet Works in bringing quiet into the workplace where and when our thinking gets done.

I completed my undergraduate education in economics, finance and systems engineering from the University of Pennsylvania where I received two bachelor degrees, one in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School and a second in Systems Engineering from Penn Engineering. My graduate and continuing education has been centered on the management of technological change, industrial and organizational psychology, public policy and leadership at Carnegie Mellon and Harvard Universities. My research at Carnegie Mellon centered on the transfer of knowledge from organization to organization within the U.S. domestic laser manufacturing industry. I have been privileged to attend a multitude of executive education programs in the years since Carnegie Mellon, to include four programs over six years at Harvard to deepen my public policy acumen, focused on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, national security, and technology policy.
